Fireworks have always been a special part of Indian celebrations, bringing together lights, colors, excitement, and wonderful memories. In this video, we enjoyed a small fireworks celebration at home with a few classic Indian fireworks.
Our celebration featured some of the most familiar and colorful types of fireworks. We started with the Phuljhari, or Indian sparklers, which create beautiful showers of sparkling light when held safely. They are simple, traditional, and loved by both children and adults.
Next were the Anars, also known as static color fountains. Once lit, they stay on the ground and produce beautiful fountains of colorful sparks. Watching the different colors and patterns emerge makes them one of the most enjoyable ground fireworks.
We also enjoyed Chakkars, the spinning ground wheels. These fireworks spin rapidly on the ground while producing sparks and bright flashes of light, making them a fun addition to the celebration.
To finish things off, we had Rockets, which launch into the sky and create a brief aerial display. Their sudden rise and burst of light add a little extra excitement to the evening.
It wasn't a large fireworks show or a grand celebration—just a small gathering at home with some traditional Indian fireworks. But sometimes, simple celebrations like these create the best memories.
From the sparkling Phuljhari to the colorful Anars, spinning Chakkars, and flying Rockets, this was a fun evening filled with lights and excitement.

Mini World and T-Rex Glamping

A Walk Through the Boardwalk
The Boardwalk takes visitors back to the atmosphere of America in the 1950s.
With its palm trees, colourful surroundings, neon signs, and impressive architecture, this area has a lively and vibrant atmosphere. Street performers and entertainment add even more energy to the experience.
It becomes particularly beautiful in the evening when the lights illuminate the streets.

The World of Riverland offers a variety of restaurants, cafรฉs, and food outlets.
One of the interesting themed restaurants is Pirates Tavern, where the pirate-inspired dรฉcor creates a unique dining atmosphere. During our visit, we could also enjoy performances that added to the experience.
As evening arrives, Riverland becomes even more lively. Different sections host musical and dance performances, creating an enjoyable atmosphere for visitors walking through the area.
The Evening Laser and Waterfall Show
One of the highlights of visiting Riverland in the evening is the laser and waterfall show.
Colourful projections and animal animations appear across the cascading water, creating a beautiful visual experience. Watching the lights and animations against the themed surroundings is a great way to end the visit.
We also came across the impressive camel statue, a Guinness World Record holder and one of the unique photo spots in the area.

One of the most striking attractions is the large Chinese Treasure Ship suspended above the court. It represents the maritime expeditions and connections between China and other parts of Asia.
The court also has numerous shops, restaurants, and cafรฉs, making it a lively area within the mall.
More Than Just Shopping
Although Ibn Battuta Mall is home to a wide variety of shops, restaurants, cafรฉs, and entertainment options, its greatest attraction is arguably its architecture.
Unlike conventional shopping malls, the experience here is about more than shopping. Visitors can admire historical references, cultural designs, sculptures, fountains, and architectural details while moving from one themed court to another.

Our Journey to The View at The Palm
Our journey began with the Dubai Metro, one of the easiest ways to travel around the city. We got off at Dubai Internet City Metro Station and transferred to the Dubai Tram, which connects passengers to Palm Jumeirah.
The next step was to board the Palm Monorail, the scenic railway that runs along the trunk of Palm Jumeirah. Unfortunately, the monorail was temporarily closed for maintenance during our visit. Instead, we took a taxi from the tram station to Nakheel Mall, which is directly connected to The Palm Tower.
The drive itself was enjoyable, passing luxury residences, hotels, and beautifully landscaped streets that make Palm Jumeirah one of Dubai's most prestigious neighborhoods.
Nakheel Mall – The Gateway to The View
Before heading to the observation deck, we spent some time inside Nakheel Mall. Opened in 2019, the mall features hundreds of retail stores, restaurants, cafรฉs, and entertainment options, making it much more than just a shopping destination.
The mall also serves as the main entrance to The View at The Palm. Clear signboards guide visitors to the attraction, making it easy to find the entrance.
The Story Behind Palm Jumeirah
Palm Jumeirah is one of the world's largest artificial islands and one of Dubai's most ambitious engineering projects.
Developed by Nakheel, construction began in 2001 using millions of cubic metres of sand and rock reclaimed from the Arabian Gulf. Instead of using concrete for the island itself, engineers relied on advanced GPS-guided technology to accurately place the sand and shape the island.
The finished island resembles a giant palm tree, consisting of:
A central trunk
Seventeen residential fronds
A crescent-shaped breakwater that protects the island from sea waves
Today, Palm Jumeirah is home to luxury villas, apartments, beach clubs, world-class restaurants, and internationally renowned resorts.
An Interactive Introduction
Before reaching the observation deck, visitors walk through an engaging multimedia exhibition.
The displays explain the inspiration behind Palm Jumeirah, the challenges engineers faced during construction, and how this incredible project transformed Dubai's coastline. Interactive models, videos, and digital presentations make the experience informative even before stepping onto the observation deck.
Reaching the Observation Deck
After the exhibition, a high-speed elevator carries visitors to the 52nd-floor observation deck, approximately 240 metres above ground.
As the elevator doors open, visitors are greeted by one of the most spectacular panoramic views in Dubai.
For the first time, the complete shape of Palm Jumeirah becomes visible. The trunk stretches toward the mainland, while the seventeen fronds branch into the Arabian Gulf, all protected by the crescent-shaped outer breakwater.
It's a perspective that's impossible to experience from the ground.
Views That Stretch Across Dubai
The observation deck offers incredible views in every direction.
Looking toward the end of Palm Jumeirah, you'll immediately notice Atlantis, The Palm, one of Dubai's most iconic luxury resorts. Its grand architecture and waterfront location have made it a symbol of Palm Jumeirah since its opening.
Standing nearby is the impressive Atlantis The Royal, a striking modern resort known for its unique stacked design and luxurious amenities. It has quickly become one of Dubai's newest architectural landmarks.
Turning toward the mainland reveals the impressive skyline of Dubai Marina, filled with towering residential skyscrapers and bustling waterfront developments.
On clear days, visitors can also spot Ain Dubai on Bluewaters Island. Although the giant observation wheel is currently not operating, it remains one of the most recognizable landmarks along Dubai's coastline.
Further away, the sail-shaped Burj Al Arab rises elegantly from its own artificial island, reminding visitors why it has become one of Dubai's most photographed buildings.
The observation deck provides outstanding opportunities for photography, especially during sunrise, sunset, and the golden hour when the city is bathed in warm light.
