Spectral Tales: Journeying through the Ghost Town of Dhanushkodi and Enchanting Rameswaram & Pamban Islands

Dhanushkodi, located on Pamban Island, was indeed a thriving town along the southeastern coast of India around 60 years ago. It had various amenities such as a railway station, police station, medical center, and other basic facilities. Due to the precarious location and the aftermath of the cyclone, the government declared Dhanushkodi as an unsafe place for human habitation. As a result, it gained popularity as a ghost town. Edward Elliot's Beach, also known as Elliot's Beach or Besant Nagar Beach or Bessie, is a natural urban beach situated in the Besant Nagar neighborhood of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The beach holds significant historical and cultural importance.
